Networking and leadership development has the potential to enhance leadership and career prospects. This opportunity enables early career researchers from under-represented groups in Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) to participate in a range of activities.

Networking for Career Development

Our networking offer provides members with the opportunity to participate in networking activities which will support their personal development and career objectives.  A Personal Development Plan will be developed with an academic supporter, this will be used as the basis for participants to co-identify networking opportunities. Participants can access up to £400 funding to attend networking events until August 2020.

Leadership Development Workshop

Our leadership development offer involves a free, one-day leadership development workshop. This will provide participants with an opportunity to reflect upon leadership styles and to develop a personal leadership narrative. Equality, diversity and inclusion within the leadership role will be a recurring theme throughout the workshop.
